Ford Motor Company’s co-owned brand Mazda has recently announced the launch of the special edition Mazda Roadster Blaze Edition to roll out in dealerships throughout Japan.
For us American auto enthusiasts, let’s see what we would be missing:
The Roadster Blaze Edition Roadster comes in two based models– the Roaster RS with soft-top feature and with six-speed manual transmission. The VS model is equipped with six-speed automatic transmission. The other model is the Roadster Power Retractable Hard Top RS RHT six-speed manual transmission and VS RHT six-speed automatic transmission. All models are powered by a 2.0-liter DOHC engine and features rear wheel drive (RWD) model.
Other features include:

In the news: Ford Motor Company’s all-new 3.5-liter Duratec 35 V-6 engine has recently been named among "Ward's 10 Best Engines" by Ward's Auto World.
Joining the Duratec 3.5 on the annual Ward’s list is Ford’s 4.6-liter 3-valve V-8. This is the third consecutive year the Ford 4.6-liter has made list. The 3-valve technology in the 4.6-liter V-8 offers improved power coupled with better fuel efficiency and reduced emissions. The 4.6-liter is the powerplant of choice for the Ford Mustang GT and Mustang Shelby GT, in addition to the Ford Explorer, Explorer Sport Trac and Mercury Mountaineer, demonstrating the flexibility of the engine. It is part of Ford’s modular V-engine series that also includes the 5.4-liter V-8 in the Ford F-series, Ford Expedition and Lincoln Navigator and the 6.8-liter V-10 in the F-series Super Duty.
The automaker’s new 3.5-liter V-6 engine is officially rated at 265 horsepower on 87 octane regular grade fuel, allowing customers to enjoy the engine's smooth and ample power with less pain at the pump. The engine is the standard and exclusive engine offered in the new Ford Edge and Lincoln MKX crossovers, hitting dealerships soon, and the Lincoln MKZ sedan, on sale since October with an MSRP starting at $29,890.

Ford Motor Company’s Jaguar luxury car division released a sneak preview of the so called XF concept sedan that is scheduled to debut early next year at the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit.
Bibiana Boerio, head of Jaguar Cars said the XF will "challenge people to think again about Jaguar as daring and different. If you like the new XK, just wait until you see the new Jaguar XF." Jaguar also said the XF will replace the S-type sedan in their product lineup and will be launched later next year. A production version will be released in 2008 as a 2009 model year vehicle. Watch out for this vehicle when Jaguar unveils it at NAIAS.

Here’s something interesting, if not entertaining.
Forbes magazine has come up with a list of the best, worst and weirdest car names. The editors at Forbes combed through the automotive encyclopedias and picked out a couple dozen vehicles that are noteworthy for their names, both good, bad, and just plain weird. Check it out:
Best
Worst – Fake Names
Worst – Misguided Grandiosity
Weird
Well there sure will be no argument as to why Daihatsu Motor Naked gets to top the weirdest car moniker.
Speaking of weirdness, are you hearing weird noises or smelling weird smells in your car? Might have to repair or replace an auto part or two there. Have your car checked.

HyPower Fuel Inc., a company that aims to reduce the world's dependence in petroleum products has announced that they will start to test their H2 Reactor (H2R) hydrogen system to the Ford Fusion.
"We chose the Ford Fusion vehicle for this series of testing because we believe that it should operate well with the introduction of hydrogen as a hybrid power source and possibly even as a sole power source. This testing program follows on the heels of the Volkswagen engine testing we previously conducted." said Mr. Douglas Bender, President of HyPower Fuel Inc.
The H2 Reactor hydrogen system is capable of producing sufficient hydrogen on board using only water to power the vehicle by using the process of electrolysis to create hydrogen and oxygen gases from water, which is used to power the vehicles internal combustion engine.

Ford is expected to release its Ford Mondeo in spring 2007. But for now we have just to content ourselves looking at prototype shots featuring the Mondeo while it is being tested in Scandinavia.
The Mondeo compared to the other sedan and station wagon of Ford has a much bigger size. The rear door is also made much larger displaying a lower height rear cargo floor designed for easy access and loading.
The Mondeo prototype that was tested in Scandinavia has spots for disguise. Yeah sure it was hard for us to spot it alright.LOL
